SWA celebrate World Book Day

Staff and students at St Wilfrid’s Academy celebrated World Book Day with a variety of activities today.  These included themed lessons, a book cover design competition and a whole school literacy treasure hunt! 

Miss Trunchbull provided the famous Matilda chocolate cake as a reward, whilst staff dressed as their favourite book characters.
