St Wilfrid’s Academy gain Artsmark Award
St Wilfrid’s Academy are proud to share that they have just been awarded the Silver Artsmark Award, by the Arts Council. This is recognition for how the academy promotes art, not only in the academic offer, but also through its therapeutic curriculum, to support students in reengaging with learning.
Students across all year groups have had the chance to work with a number of professional artists, developing collective art to display in the academy, visiting artists workshops, and even throwing their own ceramics at a local studio.
The academy will continue to promote all areas of the arts, particularly linking them to other subject areas across the curriculum.
